We HIGHLY recommend ReadyVets for your emergency needs! We brought our 12 year old cat Spooky in because we noticed a yellow color to his skin. An ultrasound was scheduled and we found he has liver and pancreas issues. They ended up having to put in a feeding tube since he had stopped eating. The doctors and staff have been there for us any time we had questions. Spooky actually enjoys going there now! This is the ONLY emergency vet we will use now for any of our fur children. The prices are very reasonable and the staff friendly and professional
Got a same day appt with Dr Capps for my maltipoo who had injured two of his legs and was limping badly. It’s a new place so it’s really clean. And the staff are so friendly and welcoming. The doctor did an exam without X-rays, which told me they weren’t out to charge me for extraneous services. They were able to send us home with the meds he needed. And we even got a follow up call the next day to check on the little doggie. I’m really impressed. Thank you!"

We had to let go of our dog of 12 years. Ready Vet was recommended to us as our vet was closed for the weekend. They were so kind, understanding and I thought it was reasonably priced. I took my dog here because she had Parvo. The doctor was very good and knowledgeable about it. They had ran testes and diagnosed her. They also explained all of the medicine and the prices. Great place to take care of your best family friend

Dr. Chris Capps
Dr. Capps has been practicing in the Upstate for 9 years. The first 6 years were spent primarily as a general practitioner doing weekend relief work at local emergency rooms, the last 3 years have been spent exclusively in referral emergency practice and providing surgical services to busy local family veterinarians. Dr. Capps is a graduate of Greenville’s Southside High School, Clemson University and the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. He has a special interest in respiratory disease, urinary tract disorders, and ophthalmic (eye) disorders.
In his spare time Dr. Capps enjoys cycling, running, and exploring our nation’s national parks. He is also an avid Clemson Tigers fan, he enjoys attending football, baseball, and soccer games as much as possible to cheer on the Tigers.
